Aaron Childs grew up in the green rooms of smoky LA jazz clubs, tagging along with his pianist father Billy. “Tangerine”, his first single on Godmode, came out to early acclaim from Pitchfork, NPR, KEXP, and LA’s own KCRW. 3am is a collection of improvised soul recordings Aaron made late at night, with the occasional bleed of Sunset Blvd in the background.
